bmw r26 sympathetic restoration

I didn’t want to do a full nut and bolt restore, in my mind that removes all signs of past use and the history that belongs to the bike. If it looks brand new, then it is basically new.

The paint work had suffered from a long lay up in a damp shed, the tin wear was solid but covered in light rust, the rest was fine.
