A BMW flat twin isn’t the obvious choice for racing.

Let’s go BEARS racing

But that’s what makes it interesting!

This is Colin, my R100RS. I’ve owned this bike since 1990 and decided to use him for racing in 2011 when I finally got around to having a go.

My BMW RS racer development has been slow but an enjoyable journey into the world of bike racing

I started racing  12 years ago with an old BMW RS. I ran the bike in standard condition with the CRMC for two seasons before going BEARS with BHR

I won the BEARS F1 trophy in 2014 with the bike still mostly standard but reliable. Still learning the tracks as well!

This is the bike last time out at Tonfanau in 2019. It’s undergone many changes since starting off.

Colin in action at BEARS events and at Pendine sands with the Straight Liners club
